Great find! If thats a numbers car I would keep it that way. Those
400's are getting to be rare.

There are lots of parts out there for '66 and '67s.
Many of the common parts are interchangeable between the two however
fenders, hoods, grills, taillights, badges etc. are different so pay attention to that when sourcing.

Fusick is a great place to order just about anything. Legendary has great inteirors and there is a guy on ROP (Real Olds Power) selling out his 67 parts collection that has a ton of quality parts (FerndaleFlyer)

For the most part just ask and someone will steer you in the right direction.

Now hurry up and post some pix!

I would say the E block 400 is not rare as every 67 442 produced came with that engine but it is a little rare in that the 400 was only available in the 442, Turnpike Cruiser and Vista Cruiser. And that engine (E block) was only produced in 66 and 67. Many places reproduce headliner one of them is Fusick.

Actually fenders are the same 66 to 67 except for 66 442 they are different. Otherwise they are the same. Left inner fender is different. Fender extensions are different. Dash insert is different. Steering column, and seats are different. Trim is different.

Lots of parts are the same.

Welcome and if you need parts get ahold of me. I currently have 3 66 442 parts cars and 4 67 parts cars.

Welcome. Just to clarify, Olds didn't start using VIN derivative stamps on the block and trans until the 1968 model year, so there aren't any numbers that actually "match" on a 1967 Olds. If you have the Protec-O-Plate, then the engine and trans unit numbers will be linked to the VIN on the P-O-P.

For the '66, do you have a pair of the inner stone shields that fit behind the front fender extensions? How about the lower front fender braces that tie to the radiator support frame? Do you have any good instrument panels in the '66 or '67? Thanks - Ray

Thumbs up Welcome

to the CO site. You might want to contact a member out here who
goes by rroth01. He does excellent restoration work on '66 & '67 instrument panels. Ask around here and see the replies you will get
regarding Ron. Great guy...
