1965 Jetstar 1

I have a 65 Jetstar 1 and in the process of doing some maintenance, etc. over the winter. One of the issues I am having is finding a wiring diagram that shows the tach wiring.

It should be in either the 1965 Chassis or Body Service Manual. 2 volume set of books that you should own, as paper copies are always there and not subject to whims of reprints or interwebs.

I think it's a light tan wire running from coil (-) to inside of car near the heater box. That's how I remember 64 and 66 being.

There are at least half a dozen originals on ebay this morning, with prices for the pair starting around $29. I strongly suggest that you only get a paper original. Any digital versions or reprints were made by scanning an original, and detail (especially in small print like wiring diagrams) gets lost when scanned. There were never digital originals made in 1965.

Car is a sort of barn find, sitting in a garage for about 15 plus years only started and ran every week or so. Bought from original owner and yes it is a 4 speed car!!
