1965 Dynamic 88 Delta

I found this forum in conjunction with a search on the Feb '11 issue of Collectible Automobile that features the Full size 65-66 Olds. After browsing the site I was favorably impressed and decided to sign up.
Here are the specs on my Delta: '65 Delta 88 2 door holiday hardtop, turquoise mist metallic with green interior, 425 2bbl (9:1 compression), turbo 400, highway gears, just about to turn over 48K original miles. Looking at the Delta ads (or Dynamic 88 Delta ads) I think the old lady that ordered my car took the ad into the dealership...she's a dead ringer for the 2 page Delta 88 ad.
I've attached a recent pic of my Delta with a friend's '64 Wildcat as well as a slightly older pic showing the front of her.

Welcome aboard from a fellow 1965 Delta 88 owner.

The license plate in front is from PA, where are you located?

Looks like NC plates on these cars. Very nice examples.

And finally, someone who is aware of the Delta's position as a Dynamic subseries in 1965.

Twins!

Welcome to the site. I think you will find the people here knowledgable and ready to help, as I have.
I also have a 65 Delta 88. Same color combination and interior, and motor as yours, except mine has a 4 speed.
Your's is much nicer looking than mine right now, as I am in the middle of restoration! I was wavering on the original Turquoise Mist paint, but after seeing your's, mine is definately going back to that color!

Glad to see that I was able to help make up your mind. Speaking of Turquoise acryllic lacquer, where can one get touch up paint?

I'm in western NC now but the car originally grew up in PA. Fortunately the little old lady apparently didn't drive in much snow and had the car undercoated shortly after she bought it.

Hi,

Was wondering if you were considering selling or trading the '65 Delta. If so, I'd be interested... let me know, thanks.
