1964 Oldsmobile Jetstar I 394 Engine

I have just recently purchased a 1964 Oldsmobile Jetstar I. I am disassembling completely and rebuilding it.
Looking for reputable and knowledgeable rebuilt transmission specialist for 4-Speed Roto Hydromatic transmission to either refresh or rebuilt. I am in SW Virginia but will ship.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new purchase. I'll let others who have had theirs rebuilt chime in. Post some pictures when you get a chance.

This is Jim--an oldtime greaser. I have owned a lot of cars. First car was a 1950 Olds Coupe--bought it for $50-303 4-speed hydromatic. Had many Olds after that one. Strayed away as life goes raising a family. I have fulfilled most of my bucket list and now I wanted another Olds--just need some help with information to fulfill my dream. Thank you for inviting me into your forum so warmly.
Sign off, the old greaser.

I'm told there's a guy in Martinsville who can do these but I've never talked with him myself.

Welcome to the forum Jim. Congrats on your good taste in Oldsmobiles. My first two Olds were 1964's and one was a Jetstar 1, I liked it so much I bought my Starfire 40 years later. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
