1964 f85 wagon

I am looking at buying a 1964 f85 wagon the body is straight with a little rust behind the rear wheels and the floor pans need some work on the drivers side. What Gm repo floor pans would fit without to much trouble and what patch panels would work behind the rear wheel, I heard a 1964 Nova wagon floor pans will work but I want somebody else's. Opinions

Welcome. I don't know who told you Nova pans would fit, but they aren't even close. The Nova is a unibody car (and narrower). The F-85 is an A-body like a Chevelle. The repro 64-67 A-body floor pans will work fine, as the wagons use the same 115" wheelbase as the 2dr cars in those years (only the Vista Cruiser and Buick SportWagon used the longer 120" wheelbase). Other than that, patch panel support for the 64-65 cars is extremely limited - about the only things available for an Olds are the panels that are common with Chevelles - mainly the stuff you can't see, like floor pans and firewall parts. Nobody makes any wagon-unique sheetmetal, so you are looking at either fabricating the quarter patches from scratch or finding a rust-free western donor quarter. Good luck.

Welcome!

X2 on not many parts are reproduced, but that's half the fun locating good used parts and not seeing ten at the car shows next to yours.
