WTB- '62 Cutlass Assembly Manual

Hi all, I'm looking all over for the factory assembly manual for the 1962 F-85/Cutlass/Jetfire. I do not mean the service manual. I have those. The assembly manual was used at the factory and details how the car was put together. I would also take the '61 manual as it is pretty close.

If one has ever been released I've never seen it.

My contact at the GM Heritage center said they never produced one for a 62. There is a 63 and many of the things in it crosses over to the 62.

I have a digital copy of the 63 I downloaded from Wild About Cars. I know where the original source is for it. It is the only one known of to come out of the factory. It was later scanned and given to Ken Dinnison and he later donated it to Wild about Cars. The guy that has the original print now does not even know he has it.

I knew where original 69, 70, 71, and 72 were at but sadly they got water damaged. They were stored in the attic of a guys house and when he moved to another house he left them in the attic. 5 years later the roof leaked and ruined them. I helped clean all the stuff out of the attic last year. He had some really cool stuff up there and most of it was still good. Lots of NOS W-31 stuff.

If possible I would like the 71 book just to reference if it still exists.

Not only are there assembly manuals for earlier years, there is also welding manuals for assy line reference. Hard to find today as we reason there wasn't much in obvious reasons to save that kind of stuff.

I can see them maybe not printing one for the '62, but there has to be one for the '61as it was all new. Chances are, they did what they did with the service manual and just added on to the '61 manual for '62. I'm going to start my search for a '61 based on what you found out from the Heritage Center.
