Ebay is a good place to find them. I like the original ones with some greasy fingerprints on them. I would not do the digital ones or the reprints. There are several on ebay with prices all over the place. This one looks pretty decent.

I ordered a new reprint. I'll let you know how good it is once it arrives.

Thanks,
Wally

Digital and reprints seem to lose a lot of detail especially in wiring diagrams. That's why I go for original hardcopies, and Oldsmobile had some of the better shop manuals, even compared to the rest of GM.

Good originals are easy enough to find that there's no reason to use a reprint or digital copy.

John, if he doesn't take it, I will. Do you have 1957 also ?

I have both 1957 and 1958, on my shelf for 45+ years. Let me know if the above situations don't work out.

My 1958 Oldsmobile Shop Manual reprint arrived yesterday. I have to say that so far I'm very impressed. My biggest concern was the illustrations and they appeared to be very clear. I've seen other reprints that are rather fuzzy. I have to say that I'm very happy with this Faxon reprint!
