This is a record made specifically for Oldsmobile. Date on back is 1964. I have never played it, so no idea if any scratches. The sleeve is split at the seams in several spots. $10 plus shipping.

What an interesting artifact, seen other Divisions and Manufacturers sponsor merchandise not unlike this one, but never Oldsmobile. Hopefully it plays well, but even if does not, still a nice bit of nostalgia.

 

That's the only Olds record I know of though you sometimes find Jam Handy Organization radio promo spots with Johnny & Lucille (Florence Henderson- yes, Mrs Brady had an acting and singing career before The Brady Bunch).


I have several of these for Chevrolet and Buick. Great stuff. Helps to have tube phonographs to play them on!

 

I wasn't aware that Oldsmobile put record players in their vehicles that year.... Whoda think it

 

I saw a Olds record dating back to 1958. It had a white cover and said Oldsmobility with a Rocket on it with the date 1958 on it. I probably should have bought it for five bucks.

 

Olds also did 8-track tapes, as I recall?

 

Who was it that actually had record players in the cars? Was that Oldsmobile?

 

Don't know about Olds, but Chrysler had a record player.
