Classified Posting Guidelines - Please Read Carefully Before Posting
ClassicOldsmobile.com is not a general classified ad site: please do not post for sale ads for your appliances, apartment for sublease, or your used furniture, etc. These types of ads will be removed.

Any ad not conforming to these rules may be removed with or without warning.

-The Misc forum is for selling and/or buying Oldsmobile items that are not cars or parts. It is also can be used for selling/buying tools, memorabilia, resource manuals, etc. If you are buying/ looking for an item, simply put Wanted or WTB in the title.

- No thread crapping. If you think something is overpriced the seller will usually figure this out pretty quickly.

- No thread hijacking. (when someone posts a FS/WTB/FT thread and you post 'me too, or unsolicited negative and/or nit-picking comments)

- All items MUST have an asking price. Auction links are unacceptable, ads will be deleted without an asking price.

- All FS/FT/WTB threads MUST list where you are located in the heading of the thread by either City/State or Zip code.

- If you sell your item(s) please notify others by editing "Sold" in the first line to update others the item is no longer available. Please do not remove the selling price.

- Remember, there are people from all over the world here so remember to specify the currency (such as USD).

- Try to keep the number of NEW threads to a minimum per member (if you have 5 different things to sell at once don't put post 5 different threads).

- Please limit the amount of times you move your thread to the head of the list with "TTT", or with a bump, etc.. to once a month starting the month after the initial ad, this is not Craigslist, if abused it will be deleted. People interested will find it.

- Do not create duplicate ads of the same item and repost over and over. They will be deleted as spam.


Try to make your buy/sell/trade post subject look something like this:
> State if it is FS/FT/WTB (ForSale/ForTrade/WantToBuy)
> Describe the product
> State the price (With currency) (if it's a FS ad)
> State the location
> State if you are willing to ship
> Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words, please post one
> Use the specific section, put them where it belongs.

> Goods which do not actually exist
> Food item
> Alcoholic beverages
> Cigarettes or any other tobacco products
> Pharmaceuticals or any other controlled substance
> Any good that infringes or violates anyone's rights
> Any item which in ClassicOldsmobile.com's sole discretion is inflammatory, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with ClassicOldsmobiles.com's standards of business ethics.

These rules were put in place to preserve the financial status of this site. Hosting costs are VERY expensive. In order for us to continue providing it as a free service to users all over the world, we must generate some revenue. It's only fair that you, as a vendor, pay for promotion of your product.

2. If you cannot reach us at AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com then DO NOT ASSUME it's ok to advertise. ANY business advertising NOT ARRANGED with AutoAdvertiser@internetbrands.com WILL BE REMOVED.

3. Paying site Vendors must follow the forum rules just like anyone else. If a vendor is found to not be following them, this may be considered to be a violation of Terms of Service and their access may be revoked. If this occurs, any money paid will NOT be refunded.
