I never even knew she was sick (guess I don't follow the right threads).

I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that she was a really great person.

Eric, She was battling her 3rd battle with cancer. She and her husband Larry came to Atlanta and met John,Mike and I and did some site seeing. REALLY nice lady

 

So sorry to hear this, my condolences to Larry, her daughter, and adopted family. She was a sweet lady with a great love for Oldsmobile, she will be sorely missed.

 

Sorry to hear this. I was in Akron Ohio a couple years back and wanted to reach out to her but never did. Now I wish I would have.

Been awhile since I have stopped by......I wanted to say RIP to a very nice person named Sandy.......She was always gungho to try and get Tepoo in the calendar ( And succeeded!)

Wow, I did not know that she was battling cancer! I was wondering why I was not seeing her post here much in the last year or so! My condolences to her family!

I used to enjoy seeing the pictures of "the prettiest one" and felt her enjoyment that she had for the Cutlass. I was wondering why the posts and pictures stopped. She will be missed....

Yes, she had Teepo, or TPO for "The Prettiest One".
She is the second good friend I lost to cancer in two years - not good. I wish there was a cure...

I only knew Sandy through ClassicOldsmobile and then later through Facebook. She was one of the few still out there that made classic cars fun. Loving the car for the car not comparing or judging anyone else. She showed her love of family and Teepo online on her sleeve. Her presence here online and with her family and friends will surely be missed. RIP Sandy.

I remember when she was showing her car Teepo and would win a trophy every week. She jumped right in the middle of this male dominated site and didn't look back.

I am always saddened by this kind of news. I haven't been here that long, but I remember reading some of her posts. I would always be encouraged to see a woman posting here with such vigor. Prayers for her family!

 

The world is a lesser place without Sandy. She certainly was an ambassador for the old car hobby, and Oldsmobiles in particular.

She and I never met face to face but I feel like I've been gut-punched. She and Teepo were a really bright spot in our online Oldsmobile world.


She has ridden her Rocket into eternity...

 

OMG ! I had no idea . I will say a prayer for her today and my condolences to her family and friends abroad . I know members on here were good friends with her , be strong ! I can't imagine what her family is going through right now .

Remember to live life to the fullest , and don't take things for granted . This can happen to anyone !

Like many of you, I had never met Sandy personally, but it was always fun and refreshing to read her posts. You could feel her energy and excitement.

I had the opportunity to meet her in person a few years ago while on a trip to Ohio. She showed me a few local cruise nights and an Oldsmobile show. I had a great time with her.

She was so proud of Teepo and it showed in her car.

 

Sandy is smiling down at this appropriate little tribute to her on her favorite site! She was the sunshine of the Good Morning thread. May she rest in peace.
