Wow that thing must have taken a hard hit to wrinkle the frame under the door like that.

Yes it did. i was in the pass seat. we hit a tree heading. it hit right on the end of the frame (if u look thought the piks you can see how bad it folded thfrount). but hitting were it did probably save a lot more damage.

Wow...hopefully she is feeling better. How long ago did it happen? Hopefully, you have collision repair experience and a frame machine. Gonna have to do a lot of pulling and measuring before that body can be dropped on the new frame.....

Do you have pics of what it looked like before you disassembled it? What do the body mounts look like? The frame is tweaked hard all the way back to the rear cross member! Mom must have been on it hard before hitting the tree! Whatd she do hit second at 6000rpm and loose it?

Most of the pik's from before i dismantled her are on the photobucket link. as for what she was doing. My dad told her that the car could not spin the tires in all 4 gears. she tried to prove him wrong. she lost control and was not smart enough to take her foot out of it. have a video of the road and tree. still have to up load that one. mom still denies that is what she was doing but video shows truth

Wow you have video of the actual crash! This car was drilled hard. Quite the ambitious project.

It has been some time but work is still going on. Hoping to have some new piks up soon.

Although I am not as far as I hoped I would be it is vetting there. I am amazed at the time, money, and pain of finding parts has been.

So you said you have a vid of the crash and the aftermath? We all like to see the carnage. And its great ref for before and after pics. You're really going to town. Why the full floor replacement? Was it tweaked that hard?

That's a lot of "buffing"

Looks like someone's knees put dents in the dash panel.

Looking good. I would think with you being down in Kazoo, that when it is done, you will take it to Homecoming and perhaps a couple of the shows at the Gilmore Car Museum?

there is a misunderstanding. i do not have a vid of crash. have of were the crash happened and the car right after.

I replaced the hole floor because there was rust in alot of small spots. So it was almost the same price to do the hole floor

Only if the body number on the card matches the body number on your Fisher Body plate on the cowl.

True, as broadcast cards from one car have been found in another.
