Rear Control Arms - Reproduction or Originals ??? - '70 442 W30
I'm restoring the chassis on my '70 W30 and have found the boxed lower rear control arms are heavily pitted behind the sway bar to the point they have lost structural integrity. There are lots of suppliers offering reproduction lower & upper control arms but before I make the investment to ship them to Australia, I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with these ??? I'm just conscious that steel thickness & strength on some reproduction parts aren't always of similar quality to originals. I'm not looking for anyone to "bag" or alternatively praise a particular supplier, but would be keen to here if I should avoid the repro's generally if the quality isn't there. Thanks for any recommendations.

I have reproboxd arms from thepartsplace I have no complaint w them. You can get them w rubber or poly bushings. You could also find some original unboxed arms and many suppliers sell the piece to box in the originals for around $40

Thanks for your suggestions guys. I'll try find some originals before using repros, but it's good to hear a positive report on someone who has used the repro's. Thanks True-Blue 442, RetroRanger and Oldspackrat.
