Valley Pan \ Silicone

Valley Pan \ Silicone
Guys,
I may have erred. Trying to see if I need to retrace some steps.
On a '68 98 I reinstalled the intake with valley pan and put thin bead of silicone between valley pan and heads around intake and cooling ports but neglected to put bead of silicone between valley pan and intake manifold. It's a metal valley pan and there are no other gaskets.
Am I in redo mode?? Do I need thin bead of silicone on both sides of valley pan??
Thanks,
Tony

I would think you would be ok
as long as you either replaced the rubber end
seals or replaced them with a thick bead
of silicon.
Once you use the valley pan gasket, it cannot be reused.
It would have to be replaced with another one.
They are designed to crush seal.
