Thoughts

Here are a few pic's of my cutlass project. I am working on it all the time, and cant wait to get in her and go. This is the motor I was having the clearance issues with the valve covers. I am looking at the 7" Booster. Any thoughts or comments will be appreciated

Use at least a 8" dual diaphram you will need to meet the vacuum requirements of the original and the single 7" won't cut it. It looks like the dual 8" will fit. Measure 4" from the centerline of your existing booster that should tell you what will fit

I was looking around online for a Dual Diaphram 8" booster, most companies list a "universal" 8" DD Booster, will this one work?

The booster will work. What you have to fiddle with is the rod adapter to the pedal inside the car. You have to have the same length rod and fitting to your brake pedal. The after market sellers of these boosters also have adapter parts so you have to take some measurements then buy the right adapters.

One suggestion is with that much HP, ditch the drums and get disk brakes.
