Umm.....what cam is that? And how long have you had it? Any Erson cam book or catalog I can find these days has nothing Oldsmobile in it.
I had a JB100 in a 455 years ago and the torque was STUPID.

I am also going to run an erson cam, ordered it from Cutlassfi, Mine is not a roller, and it is a similar grind to the jm 22-20 with different ramp profiles

so erson is definately making olds cams....

So you called them and ordered a custom profile then. Cool.

I remember the name Steve Tanzi from when I worked at Super Shops back in the day. He was the cam god at Erson from what I remember.

Randy I went through the same guy that Panos did, Mark Remmel known here as Cutlassfi he is an authorized dealer I think

I really do not know much about cams, but mark was nice enough to speak to Erson, with my Set up and order it it was just a little more then off the shelf..

Panos, I think your in good hands as well LOL...

sorry to step on your thread..

Coming along great Panos, Wont be long and it will be in a shipping crate and on its way to you. Did you order your order your tranny yet. How about your drive line modifications.

I sure like the looks of the carb set up I'm going to have to talk to Mark about that for my 455

I wouldn't worry about until you get the engine and get it in and do a test fit with the hood. Do it with the breather off then with it on. If it doesn't work with your breather then you might have to get one it does. I wouldn't worry about right now just a detail that won't know the answer to until get it togather.

Those are respectable numbers, frying the tires won't be a problem. Things are coming together now all you have to do is wait on the shipping time. The clock is ticking to completion

Thanks but the credits go to Mark not to me i Think with a fine tune and some simple mods it could reach closer to that magical number but even if it dont then i dont really care,i mean can u really feel a 30hp difference?and after all is torque that moves u,and it has plenty of it

Well im really excited thats true im just trying to figure out all the small stuff for the motor installation because i would hate not being able to drive with the car because of small things missing/not fitting And there comes the next questionPulleys! i was going to use the pulleys from the old 350 motor that was in the car BUT i just saw that it had the short wp and the 455 has the long one so its not going to work or?
Anyone who knows exactly wich one i need or point me to the right direction from where i could buy it?(shipping overseas) a new gen.bracket would also be nice, the old one was homemade and very scary!

Thanks in advance Panos

swap the water pumps there the same for either engine and use the pulleys
and brackets off of the 350. I don't have a generator bracket but I am sure someone here does and can mail it to you

measure the water pump from the height and e-mail it to summit and they will tell you which is the right pump. you might
try http://www.rockauto.com/ for the part as well
