New Race Toy

Finally got it in my garage. Will be probably 9 to 10 months to finish and have fun. Will be a fun adventure! Have no idea how this will go down the track.

9 second 1/8 mile sounds doable. Nice trailer too. Good luck.

I have been thinking about a trailer and the trailer you borrowed is one like it. Another one has pull out ramps. Not sure if I want 20 or 22 footer.....it has to balance out with my Toronado on it. The base trailer has 3500 pound tandem axles that are upgradeable to 5200 pound axles.

Very cool project.
Will you keep with a nostalgia theme?
Recreate an old match racer?

So lots of thoughts on what to do with the way to finish this build. I want to keep it nostalgic for the most part. Zoomie headers are what I want to do along with some sort of induction sticking out of the hood. It's not really a gasser, but it is an altered wheel base car like the 442Much. Has a cage certified to 8.50. Power plant will be a BBO with solid lifters and a TH400. This car is a completely new build and has never seen a track before.

So it's been a long and difficult year. Have the car

engine is almost ready and a fresh 3000hp compatible TH400. Still buying parts and winter is approaching. My buddies shop has been overwhelmed with his daughter and son in law moving in waiting for new house to be built. Going to probably be next year or selling this beast.

Danny Lattimore. 512 cu in 14:1 .730 lift solid roller. Makes stupid hp. Yes the block is filled to bottom of freeze plugs and has a girdle. Fully studded and 1/2 in head studs.

The block is on its ragged edge for sure. But revs to 6800 rpm on dyno.

How much lighter is this body than the other one ? Not using a "Trans-brake" on this car ? Is this the same engine you ran in the other car ? Got a dyno sheet ?
