New Control Arms

Well I started a new project today.
My Omega is/was in need of new control arm bushings and while I am at it I would replace the ball joints too.
I decided to just buy and install new upper and lower control arms, cause I figured it would be more work to replace all the parts and press in the ball joints, plus these look cooler....lol

So here is the passenger side progress today. It took about 4 hrs, I think I can get the drivers side done faster, now that I know what I'm doing...

I would love to add pictures but I keep getting this message every time I try.

OK...So I should have read the tech sheet on the control arms better.

I ended up buying lower control arms that have the spring seat 2" lower. I like the look but I'm sure it will bottom out and beat up the headers on a few driveways etc.
I am now thinking to get some spring spacers to bring it up 1". Anyone have any experience with those?

they do look cool!!! what else is affected w the lower spring seat I would assume ride height and alignment, anything else? will you be able to get it aligned with out additional parts. On my old truck 2" taller meant I also had to get an adjustable ball joint to allow for more camber adjustment .

FYI Im doing the same to my cutlass but Im re-using the arms and adding all new ball joints and bushings etc along w POR 15ing the arms
