Hello so a couple years ago I customized my dash and installed new gauges and was happy for a long time but now I decided I want to restore it back to original and am remembering what the hell I did back some time ago and am beating myself in the *** for being such a moronic *** hole because I used a grinder to cut part of the metal frame that holds the dash and when I put it back to stock you'll see a huge cut and it'll look like **** and I scowerd the internet and found tras It looks like they sell it in chevelle but not cutlass This was the only thing I found and tried to contact them and no response so checked out reviews and supposedly this place is ran by one guy and hes a mess with shipping things All the holes there and the 2 light switches were there when I bought the car just so you don't thing I'm more crazy than I already am and same with the radio Here's s what I had done with the dash/ Interior previously And here's what it looks like now!!!!! 🤪
h any ideas? maybe someone has one of these frame pieces they'll sell me? ? 🙃
Ps gotta love the stickers!!
LOL funny post dont be so hard on yourself we all do stuff we regret. Theres plentyof parts sellers on here and those parts dont usually get damaged, post a wanted ad someone will respond
Have you thought about just reproducing a patch panel for that area? It would fairly simple and easy to do in a home garage with minimal tooling.
That's a brilliant idea gear head thanks! I'm looking at it again and I think you may be right with a little bit of time and patience I might be able to pull that of! Thanks!
That piece of metal is the same on every single 1970-72 Cutlass Olds built. There are a bunch of parts cars around. Shouldn't be particularly difficult to find one.

Hello everyone I won't be needing an inner dash frame until further notice. I Bit off more than I can chew as I'm busy with all sorts of other projects on my car and won't even have time to change the dash back to stock for a while... I'll come back when I'm ready. Everything takes so much longer than I plan haha. . thank you
