Lock Set for 1951 2 Door
If this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to move.
Wondering if anybody can provide some guidance as to a good source for a NOS lock set for the old girl. Missing only the trunk lock and the keys, so I may have to replace the trunk lock and have the rest rekeyed to match. Any advice welcome. Thanks!

However a real lock smith should be able to make keys for the doors and ignition if you take the car to them or take out the lock cylinders from a door, glove box, ignition etc.
Where in Texas are you located?

Ok one more time, i just looked. It seems he has a repo trunk lock with keys and thats all he has for a 51 Olds.... maybe.
The item number is 301881555948. Again i think the lock is repo, but correct, and it has GM keys with it. All for the low low price of $39.00.
Its says its the last one.
Go to Ebay check it out.
Contact him to see if he has more or will have more or something that will work for the other locks.
Good luck

Salami, I am in Rowlett. Several of us from the North Texas Olds Club were supposed to be at the State Fair today but you can guess we are not due to the rain. We would love to have you visit one of our monthly club meetings. Let me know if you are interested. You can get an entire matching set of locks from Fusick Automotive. They have more stuff for Oldsmobles than anybody else. They have an online catalog. Here is the link:

There is a little distance between us but our meeting places changes some during the year. You don't have to wait until you car is running. There are several members that are working on their cars. Our meetings are the second Sunday of every month. Hope to see you soon.
