Hi Greg, thanks for the kind words. Yes, I scrapped the factory HVAC system. It was missing too many parts and I didn't want to deal with it. Plus it looks so much better under the hood without that huge evaporator box sitting there. I still haven't figured it out yet, but I'll probably go with a Vintage Air or other hot-rodder aftermarket system. I'll cross that bridge once I get the thing on the road and running. Thank goodness for vent windows!

Hi! Thanks for the thumbs up! And that's a nice W-30 you've got... if you're interested in an even trade, I'm all ears! I hoped you liked your time in Chattanooga. It is a great town, very pretty, tons of outdoor stuff to do and the traffic isn't too bad (yet).

Has it really been nearly a year since my last post? I've made a ton of progress since that time, and now I can officially call it "done"! Well, as done as any old car can be. I still have a dozen to-do's on it. But at least I can crank it up and go somewhere now!
