First car project ever!

Its been a few months and shes back on her own feet! Now its time to get that motor built! Still ALOT to do and shes not perfect but were not building a show car here! But brand new electrical and a brand new front end is not a bad start. Let me know if something looks wrong. and keep in mind not everything is bolted down tight, im waiting on a assembly manual

Some of you might wonder why i would block off the air vent like that, but most of the parts are missing and nothings hooked up. Plus I live by the water and its always windows down weather when I drive this car.

Cant find the thread, which took alot of searching to find the first time. But its pretty simple just get enough chain to go under the jack, and up over the frame rail. Connect the ends useing a master chain link or a heavy duty lock. And start jacking the lower control arm with the spring in place. The chain keeps the top of the frame from rising since theres no motor to weight it down.

Your kind making a giant coil compressor with the jack
You can also put a chain around the spring if ur worried about it, i didnt feel the need to since i was on the other side fo the car when raising the jack.

Worked like a charm

I thought I was being creative when I used the old jack and chain process! Just goes to show there are other creative minds out there, too! Looks like a pretty nice Cutlass.
