duh?????

Evenin gents. I have a never fired thru set of headers for my cutlass(330ci), that I have been considering putting on. I have been told and can verify that
the 330 runs a little warm(about 190d). I have a new aluminum 4 row radiator, electric fan on the front(pusher) and am curious what headers will do with the heat problem. Your thoughts. thanks

First, are the headers specific for an sbo in I'm assuming your 65. 190 degree operating temp is normal if you have a 180 degree thermostat. The headers will not warm the engine compartment much more than a standard exhaust system.

duh

headers were purchased new for, and do fit my 330, had them on the car
but for now forgotten reason took them off, so I know they fit. I have been told that 190 is normal for this engine, but it just seems high for a small block. Am considering and external trans cooler also. thanks
