??? I don't get it. In 72 any engine except the X code 455 could be part of the W29 package.

Being the car is a 442 W-29 option I thought it must be a w-29 engine

No worries. Looks like an L34 350/350
The W29 option was basically an appearance and handling package. It was an available on all 2 door Cutlass models in 72.

Very nice metal work. Now get rid of that other nasty scaling and you'll have a thing of beauty. You going to paint or powdercoat?

Gona get the frame blasted and then I'll prime and paint it. Think I might get a quote on powder coat for the A arms. That will be the decision maker.

Well that's a pretty looking starter. You just put in new brushes or did you also do the bearings too? Bench tested I presume?
The control arms (front and back) and springs look good. Still one more coat to go?

I found that cleaning / sanding and painting the springs took forever and the angles you have to shoot the paint? You need to be a contortionist to get everything covered. Looking good Henry.

Really good progress you're making Henry! Couple of questions for ya!
I see you got the same ILT brake line package I did. You have any problems straightening them? Also, could you please post a pic of the front brake lines attachment across the engine cradle area? I gotta do mine with the engine in place for now. Thanks
