Dear god what have I done? '69 Cutlass makeover
Well the time has come for my trusty friend to get a shiny new coat of paint. I will post pictures of the progress, but for now here are some pictures from last year, but the car still looks the same.

good luck and if you are bringing it to someone, make sure you photograph everything and document everything, make sure they agree to what was working before yo brought it in etc. PM me if you want to know what NOT to do

It occurred to me that was how we all feel when we take on this type of project. Glad you like it. New pictures to come soon. The old girl should be naked pretty soon(sorry Sandy).

Update
Well stopped at the shop that is painting my Cutlass over the weekend. Let me say very few surprises with this car there is only two spots with Bondo and no surprise rust. The bumpers are off most of the trim is off and he started removing the vinyl top. Apparently someone switched the trunk lid for some reason. But other that that I think we have all factory sheetmetal. Sorry no pictures forgot my camera and the car is 2 hrs away from where I live so it might be awhile for pictures. It should be in primer soon.

Jamesbo,
I imagine you have seen a few with 4 '69's in your signature although you recently lost one which I imagine was like losing an old friend. I consider you the '69 master. Hopefully some day I can add a '69 442 and a H\O to my collection.

Update. Sort of.
Hey everyone,
Small update for you. The car now has all body work done and is ready for final prime except for the drivers front fender. Vinyl top is off, door panels are off. Sorry no pictures no camera again. Now comes all the fun...spending money! LOL! All the misc. pieces add up to some serious dough. But oh well it is only money I'll make more tomorrow.

Somewhat more of an update I think.
Hey all,
Well we are getting there one step at a time. Passenger side is in final prime with drivers side on its way to final prime. We deceided to use the front fender and fix the po's hack job. Should be painting jambs this week. Wahoo color! I got a bunch of goodies for Christmas including all the scripts, "Oldsmobile", "Cutlass", "S", mirror, door handles. I ordered my top it should be in next week. So hopefully very soon there will be an update with pictures in full living color!!!

Paint!!
I know I am going to hear about the lack of pictures, but we have PAINT! WOOHOO! Jambs are painted. Car is in about a million pieces again. My vinyl top finally came in. I am almost done buying trim pieces (I hope). I am planning on taking the camera next time I go up so unforunately for now you all will just have to take my word for it. She is very slowly getting dressed. LOL!

Thanks guys. I definitely wasn't expecting to win anything considering my car still needs work. There were probably 40 cars total, but only 2 in my class so no real competition, but I can't control that.
