should be able to drop it off in the next couple of weeks so I can get the body on the roto and finished off......... honestly for a driver car this really is kind of stupid lol

one very small section of undercoating left on the pass wheelwell but will have to spin the car to get to it

I will probably tackle the front side of the pans first before the wells

I am just using the krylon semi gloss in the rattle can for the bottom of the car

I really shouldn`t have been so damn cheap and just got it blasted lol would have been alot faster than this

found another batch of pinholes along the way in the trunk pan but I`m glad I was able to save the original pan

Small update

got going on the wells today with my youngest son.. we got nasty dirty and he loved it

This is really why I am doing this I get some great one on one time with him
...Did you know the motor really should go in the trunk....
IMG_2129.jpg

anyways got all the undercoat and paint off along with the seam sealer on the drivers side

ran into this on both lower rear wells filled in with the ever excellent expanding foam

IMG_2131.jpg

IMG_2132.jpg

we were only out for a couple of hours so managed to get the pass side mainly finished off other than a few touch up welds

IMG_2133.jpg

IMG_2135.jpg

IMG_2136.jpg

hopefully have it buttoned up on Saturday

I have almost everything Stan I was a pack rat for 4 years and got what I needed the only things I still need to look for is a headliner and rear interior panels mine are to far gone to reuse

I am thinking the car is going to be *** up once I get the motor and trans in....for some strange reason it is sitting alot higher than I remember it

this is where it sat before teardown

CIMG1050.jpg

it might just be the tires though

and yeah I`m thinkin she is pretty Bad *** right now lol

when i took the grill off my car i think there was three bolts holding the whole thing on, i need to start disasembling the parts car, so far its been largely untouched. went to duncan auto yesterday to order some sheetmetal etc, they dont carry much. what does your guy carry/who do they use?

Stan I got my bolt kit and hinge kit off of e-pay... sheetmetal I use CrossCanada then order it through Lordco. you will prob have to use the search for olds and chevelle like I did since most interchange

I will have a ton of sheetmetal bolts left over if you need anything
