well spent the morning rebuilding the bottom inner wheelhouse and trunk floor on the drivers side..... sometimes banging your head against a wall does feel good..
Hopefully by tonight I should have the new brace in depends on how motivated I am to lay back down on the floor

Opposite here, finally the first cold front of the fall out of Canada is going through North Texas today, beautiful sunny low humidity highs in the 80's nights in the 50's perfect wrenching weather. have to get the post car ready to pull the 330 and trans, Another club member is coming up from Houston next weekend to pick it up.

John I took your motivational advice .... or the kick in the *** I needed whichever you prefer
I got everything finished off last night other than 2 body mount bolts I need to tackle .I might actually get this body on soon I`m hoping to get my fuel line and rear brake lines this week... might have to take a drive to Victoria to get them though..
I`ll have to upload the latest pics from the camera and post them

make sure you get the right box though- Jeep Grand Cherokee 93-98 ONLY.. Regular cherokee is not the same.
There is a lot of info in the Suspension forum over on Team Chevelle about how to identify the right box. Best way is to use a protractor to identify the exact sweep of the pitman arm & Match it to the number of turns on the input shaft.
If you are really lucky, some will still have the sticker tag on the box with the identifying code- but these donor vehicles are 15 years old now, and the chances of that little peice of tape still being there are pretty slim.

alright is it just me or are there more options on rear brake lines than what I have....... in the manual it shows 2. One to the axel and one with a bracket to the axel... mine was the first of the two direct to axel with a T but the Right Stuff only offers the latter for my car would chevelle or others work??
here is pic of what I am working with now
IMG_1728.jpg
not a big deal if I need to fab something I guess but was just wondering

Joe yes I have that also I have both but it is the lines that are set up for the bracket it might be hard to see in the picture but they are foward on the axel in stead of in line with the axel nut if that makes any sense ..
#141
Joe my thoughts exactly but it is the only lines available for 66/67 Cutlass/442 from The Right Stuff. They have mo images available on thier website so kind of a crap shoot..... So I am wondering if anyone has a part # from them that actually is correct for this application
#143
Wes, your saying that's the correct parts for 1966-67. But 1967 was the first year for the Type O, that's different than the 1966. If you look for the parts that fit 1968-70 Type O I believe it would be the same as your 1967. Work is long hours right now so it would be late this week before I can crawl under my car to see what it has on it. John

Stan ... its always 5 Oclock somewhere hey was wondering if you might need a rear drivers side floor pan area I only needed the front so I have the rest kicking around in the shop
Jon I will look into that about the 68 up cars thanks

patches are in.......... was fun but alot of work. I could not get a drill bit in square on the sail panel so opted out with grinder and cutting wheel on edge to grind the spot weld down enough to seperate them from the sail panel
#147
Wes, my project has the 10 bolt but the parts car a 12 bolt. I can check but I think the brackets are pretty much the same that holds the T fitting. I changed out my 67 conv rear to a 12 bolt and dont remember anything problematic there....
#148
hey wes, you should make a trip to campbell river. those heads are worth it.

Great work, looks like your at the same stage I am. I've got the frame all done with suspension, lines etc. on. Just need to weld my new trunk in, paint under the body and mate the body back to the frame. Been sitting idle for a few months, cant wait to get back at her! Keep up the battle!

nice! whats left before body on? i see the hockey pucks already in place. motor/ trans? i still have the 330 and jetaway, or the 350 out of my car its pretty fast. my buddy says what if i put the 425 in and its not as fast as the 350 already in it? slurp slurp on a beer, silence, puff puff. i never thought of that, i said. that 350 is pretty tough. i oughta do a video of a launch and 2nd gear squawk. had a 3rd gear squeal once but that saginaw shifter is tough to hit third some times. would like a hurst comp plus have tore off windsheild and back window and driprail chrome already. insurance is up for the season so i wanna paint it for next year

Stan
How much are you wanting for the 330? the way things are going it is looking better than the 455 on the stand lol.......I need to get down there and check out your progress
Still need to finish the underbody and get some paint on it the working for a living keeps getting in my way.
