I stumbled upon this episode of "Car Czar" and found it interesting. It's about the restoration of an old show car - a '54 Olds pickup! It's narrated in Russian, but if you don't speak the language it doesn't really matter. You'll be able to follow it just fine. It's about 51 minutes long...

 

Funny things you find when you're not looking. Didn't think they made a pickup. Custom conversion? Found a 1957 Chev Cameo at the rad shop when we got a military M113 carrier rad replaced.

 

I have seen a 55 Olds funeral flower car-pickup that was up for sale a few years ago, not nearly as custom as the ride above but still very unique. I'm sure it was put together in a custom coach shop in the fifties, stuff is out there....Tedd
