Body Lifted Finally

Finally got the body off my frame of my 1980 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Here is some pictures of what I got. The only thing now is what do I do first?

Do I start with body work, or the frame?

I like your cradle. that is a good idea. I would start on the frame and work on the body while you wait for parts or get tired of working on the frame.

Take things apart - bag and label EVERYTHING!! Take many pictures!
Start cleaning and prepping for paint. Re-assemble as parts are received.
I've found when re-assembling, do one 'system' at a time - wireing, fuel, mechanical, body, paint, or as far as time and materials allow.
Don't get 'overwhelmed' - one thing at a time!!

Harmon yes it is done all the time

you can get a washer the same thickness and diameter as the original hole and weld it in

Ya....& you can get the washers cheap at places like Fastenal. The repro parts places charge like $40 for 8 of 'em .....I got a box of 10 for ~ $8 from a hardware supplier....just make sure they're not plated/zinc coated...you want raw steel washers since they're gonna be welded...
