Been getting the car out for a some short road time blasts the last couple weeks. Think its up around a hundred miles now... Holy crap this thing rips!
I took it for an hour long cruise on Friday and it didn't miss a beat- sealed quite a bit of pavement along the way as well.

The starter heat soak has continued, despite installing a starter blanket.
My RobbMC mini starter showed up today- i'll get it installed in a day or two and should resolve that particular complication.

Temperature holds steady at 180 cruising, but really climbs quick when it sits- so i'll have to start looking into an electric fan setup.

I'm running a stock points distributor- and it has way too much mechanical advance built in- I can only run 14degrees initial timing without risking too much total- So I picked up a spring & bushing kit- going to see if the bushing will limit it enough to allow me to get it up to 18 degrees- and hopefully smooth out the idle a bit.
