New to this forum, so I figured I would show the project I've been working on for the past 2 years on and off. Still have some work to do, but I think it has come a long way so far. This car was my brothers who had passed away a few years ago, so I figured it would be awesome to have this car restored in memory of him.

Enjoy!

Had to bend the sub-frame back into place to fit in the new fender and nose

Off to the paint shop!

Still having trouble finding a front H/O symbol... I have the old one, but it's bent and cracked :/

Painted the front calipers, rear drums and sanded down the exhaust and painted that while the tires were off. Going to get a new exhaust, but the paint made it look real nice for now.

First, Welcome to C.O.

Great job. You planning to put the red HO trim stripes back on too? Like your wheel choice compared to those Chevy Camaro ones that were on it before. BTW you can prolly get some good $$ for them on a chevy forum. Help pay for the cost of some of your work.

Sad to hear about your brother - my condolences for your loss. Hope he is looking down and smiling at your efforts. I love hearing these kind of stories.

Thanks for the comments!

Seeing as the motor isn't stock, I don't think I'm going to put the pin striping on right away. It may be something I do down the line, but I kind of like the plain 2tone. This fall I plan on redoing all the interior(that will be fun...). In a month or so, I'm going to replace the exhaust and start cleaning up the engine.

As for the camaro rims, thanks for suggestion! I've been trying to sell them on craigslist and haven't had too much luck with it.
