77 olds cutlass brougham cab change
Okay boys, another question of my olds restoration. Must be get sick of me already. But if want answers ask the pro's. So here is another one. I need lots of body work done to my 77 have to replace rear quarters door skins and fenders. Instead of me buying the rear quarters and paying my body shop to install them, to my thinking is for me to buy a cab that is in sound shape, I can remove the cab and replace it with the one I buy.Take my interior and put it in the car. Should be cheaper this way? It's a big job but that is what will be fun about it at least I can do this myself, some what mechanical inclined. So I have a 77 but I have found a 76. The question I have would my interior fit in a 76. 76/77 had different interior design

I don't know what car you're looking at but the only changes in the interior between 76 and 77 were the passenger side air vents, the steering wheel and going from a 120MPH speedo to an 85MPH speedo. Other than that it's all gravy.

When you change a cab, should you mark any measurements or does the cab stay in alignment or is their minor adjustments. Never done this before, just want some knowledge before I pull my car apart
