69 Cutlass spring cleaning 3/12-3/19

Hey all,

I had the opportunity to have access to a friends lift for a full week. In that time my goal was to disassemble/clean/repaint the frame and under body of my 69. During this time I also had my friend fully rebuild my TH350 and install a B&M shift kit. This was also the perfect opportunity to install a new rear diff from drum to drum and new tubular upper and lower rear control arms by UMI suspension. I was pretty proud of the final result and wanted to share the before and after pics.

Day one disassembly

Day 5 was mostly cleaning and repainting the diff and springs etc in the driveway and didnt take pics, nothing exciting.
Day 6 was the reassembly of everything. UMI 68-72 A body upper and lower control arm kit 401516-B. TM coded 3.42 posi I picked up from Michigan last month. American racing VN420 15" wheels with BF Goodrich radial T/A 255/60R15 bought second hand from Craigslist.

Looks great Craig. That lift really makes life easy.

So I may have to head up your way and steal your friend for a week
