Thank you for the information and it looks like you made the best of a crappy situation. I can’t believe Eddie’s didn’t make it right. At this point I’m not sure what to do but I think I’ll try the heavier cylinders and examine the dog bones a little close and modify like you did.

I felt like something was missing so I added whites stripes to the hood. It really finished the car

3 1/2 years later and its about done. Its been a long, expensive, fun and utter mind-numbing experience that I look forward to doing again....Windows and a few odds and ends and she's ready to drive and tweak....

4 years later she’s done! What an adventure full of highs and lows but I’d do it again. Even with all the crappy fitting aftermarket parts, it just take time and patience. First weekend I will be driving like its supposed to be driven
