Thanks. Specs are close to mine. She should fly. Problem will be traction from a dead stop. That's a good thing!

Great looking motor... What valve covers are you planning to use? Will the stock covers clear the roller rockers?

Thanks, I used the stock valve covers. I believe that my engine builder had to grind out one of the baffles that is located on the under side of the valve covers.

Should be a fun little ride on the street and good for mid 12's at the strip if I were to guess.

Pretty looking engine. It's just dying to be installed and run though.

Do you mind me asking what a build like this costs?

Was wondering if you could make that much hp/tq using a 750 vac secondary holley, and a performer.Looks good....Good luck with it.My build is pretty close to yours, and I was thinking about 450hp.500+tq. I might be close.

Thanks, if this car does run mid 12s I'd be happy but with the springs being so stiff it kills the tires off the line. As far as price goes for this build, motor was about 9k, the whole build totalled about 42k. This doesnt include the time that I spent running around or the hours spent in the garage cleaning/painting parts. The power and torque figures were given to me by the engine builder, he also said that he made a couple of runs with an HP series carb and found little or no change in power or torque.
