In process of re- doing a 403 for my 78 cutlass salon 4 door.
got Diamond flat top pistons from Andy at Olds Performance, got the largest comp hydraulic roller they currently make ( 236/244 @.050), bought bare speedmaster heads on black Friday. Engine was done before last year with the next cam down, 4a heads and stock pistons.
Machine shop has done some blending of the Chinese heads so far, and matched the Performer rpm intake to the new heads.

Ty!! It has an ATI 10 inch converter and 3.42 gears now. I suspect the gear may not be enough.

 

Yeah!! Some 14" blackwalls with dog dish hub caps would really fit. Love it!
