Now that we got all the PMs out of the way lol. Here are a few more pics.
The frame is NOT glossy, it has calmed down some, as you will see in later pics.
Went with Rhino liner on the belly of the car. Let me know what you guys think, I love it!

This is painted the same as the frame.
What you guys think? I think it looks killer!
Sorry for so many pics at once. I love the way this thing is coming together. Spending a little extra money to make it a little more nice. I also got a new power plant for it this weekend along with new tranny. I cant wait to hear and see that thing down in there!

Looking good !
I'm jealous ! I haven't been able to work on mine for 2+ months...I'll live thru yours until I get back to mine !
Your frame look very nice ! I noticed it looks like you still have the 'open' hardtop frame. Any concerns about that ? Or will you just keep the top up & doors closed !

I know how much you like that frame but you're asking for trouble....

X2. I've had the opportunity to have both a bare HT frame and bare conv frame in the past. When I picked those frames up at the very back and twisted them, a HT frame definitely moves throughout the center. Not so with a conv frame. I also lifted the back of a conv 69 Cutlass body that was just sitting on the frame to see how much the door gaps moved. The gaps closed up by more than 50% with little effort and I stopped trying at that point. The door wedges will hold up for a little while to keep the doors from hitting the quarters but sooner or later the metal the wedges are screwed to will start to collapse and problems will develop. It's a shame to see all this time, effort and money invested in this project when the method to make the frame right was simple enough and very doable yet not embraced (no pun intended).
