1968 442 Post Coupe
Hello! This is my 1968 442 Post Coupe I bought in January of 21. It’s a factory 4 speed bucket seat non console car. Currently has a 73 455 with a TH400 transmission mated to it. Since buying it I haven’t driven it a lot but have been slowly restoring it with intermittent drives in between. Current list of what I’ve repaired/replaced on the car:
New Carburetor
Dash Pad/Plastic Dash Piece
correct 68 bucket seats
Carpet
Floor pans
Rear KYB shocks/BMR 1” lowering springs
Tubular front control arms
front disc brake conversion
Viking Coil Overs
Quick Ratio steering box
new steering linkage
future plans currently are:
New Paint (Juneau Gray)
New Vinyl Roof
New Bumpers
New wiring harness (has a newer one but it’s a universal and it’s terrible)
4 speed/5 speed transmission swap
Parchment interior.
Anyways, I look forward to seeing everyone else’s projects progress and I’m sure I’ll be asking further questions as I go along with everything else. Cheers!

haha I’m a bit prejudice about it looking good too. The paint work new bumpers and trim is really going to start making it look top shelf. If you actually get up close right now the paint isn’t bad but there’s a lot of not great prep and there are some thin spots where the primer is coming through so I’m looking forward to seeing just how much better she’ll get from here.
