Centerforce 1 clutch. This setup is supposed to be easy on the leg. My wife has a hard time with the Centerforce 2 clutch in my 70, so Im hoping this one will be better for her.

Getting ready to drop the engine and trans in to add some weight. Doors will be hung and fitted. Should be ready for final touch ups to body work and then paint.

She may like it but you won't. I installed a Centerforce 1 after calling and talking to them. They based the recommendation on the engine horsepower. In my opinion it's just way too soft.

Hi Mike, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I can always pull it out and try something else if it sucks. Thought about going hydraulic but I'm not sure if that's the answer either.

Almost Color Time

Just a few touch up spots the body shop wants to make perfect before spraying. Pretty pumped to see the whole car in color. Also made the final decision to not add the W36 stripes.. The "442" piercings will remain as they are.

Looking great, Rick! It won't be long before that body goes from black and white to COLOR! -Bob

We Have Some Color!

I haven't seen it in person yet but I really like what I see in the pics. Still a lot of work to do and I'm sure it won't be ready for this years' Nationals but it's progress.

Boy that’s going to be a drop dead beautiful car, love the color. Are you going with white interior? My high school car was 68 442, blue, white interior 4 speed. Not this aqua blue but the darker blue. Excellent job..

I am looking through your restoration photos of your beautiful blue 1968 convertible, what brand engine paint did you use? I find a lot of discussion here regarding correct color,

Tom,
The bronze paint was purchased from Fusick's.
