So I'm wrapping up my interior this weekend. I trimmed my carpet and installed the sill plates. It looks like the sill plates are too short, they stop about four inches short of the back of the door opening. I'll post a picture later. Does anyone have a measurement or a good pic so i can see where this plate is supposed to end?

There definately too short, are they new? If so someone sold you the wrong ones. They should go all the way to the door striker post. The windlace goes under that raised part of the sill plate. The sill plate curves up like the door opening, they should match up.

 

Yeah i was sure this was too short. These were the sill plates in the pile of parts that came with the car. Theyre worn and scratched so im not losing sleep over getting a nicer set that fit properly. Thank you for the confirmation.
