Hi ppl,

The rear seat of my just-bought 72 CS conv has a big hole inside, so I was thinking of buying a new cover....but, the ones I find at legendary or yearone, or....look all very different from mine.
So is mine not original or have there been different interior options?
Hope you guys can help.

That doesn't look like original to me.
Any upholstery shop should be able to fix the hole.

 

Def not OEM. The covers from Legendary follow the original patterns.

 

X3. Your interior has been recovered at least once already, and the upholstery shop custom made those inserts.

 

Thank you guys. Already thought that this -like 456 other things at this car- is not OEM. I am not an OEM fanatic but it makes things repairing/maintaining def. worse.

 

Joe, not just the inserts - the whole cover. Only thing that looks still original is the headrests. 72 Supreme seat stitching is full width on A51 seats - no side bolster pattern changes. Uprights - same story.
