69 Convertable Interior Suggestions
OK, Ive talked to a couple of places that do mail order and it seems that my bright blue may be a problem in ordering frfom them. Should I just bite the bullet and take it to a shop and drop a blank check? If so, any experience out there with Virginia shops? North Carolina either. Does anyone have a line on an interior company I could mail order the right color from? Thanks
What he said...contact Legendary and they will send you swatches/color samples first. You can then decide or make the match to your old interior and specify which sample color should be used to make your panels and seatcovers.
No reason to go to a local shop when you can go direct to the maker of some very nice products.

Well put. I have already checked them out online and don't see any reason to look any further. I may just haul all my parts up to Carlisle in October instead of driving all the way to ny with it

Naw, it would have been special but its just a checked, broken, off center standard.
BTW.......I am still LOL'in my butt off. So you attach the pic of your beautiful car.........This shows my age or the fact that I am just a helpless, addicted gearhead. I just saw the poster up by the ladder in your shop.....

Why so blue?
I have too been loosing sleep over blue or black ? Black is easy, (or easier) to find stuff for, but my car is blue white roof and the blue int. would be cool if it was "crisp" My fear is the blues won't be the same and or I'll be stuck dying or painting to match. jamesbo, did you buy all new stuff? I need EVERYTHING but the headliner ( I think it was done?) there isn't a part, piece or fabric that doesn't need replacing. oh, and to make it interesting, my car is a post.
Now for the vert top bow question. Are they black or blue? I ask because I just saw a 69 Lansing 442 white, blue interior & top with blue bows. Owner said he believes they are factory. He had good proof. Anyone else? BTW his blue interior was new and looked great. Didn’t ask where it came from but I can. Legendary will take care of you.

Yeah, my top frame is blue too. Dude, Cheven.....Blue is the stuff great interiors are made of. I have had no problem finding all the bright blue material I can use. Since your redoing it all anyways, why not blue? I even found a place to get the full front armrest in bright blue. The bonus having code 12 blue is if your lights go out at night, drop the top and you are good to go. kinda got that ground effect street light action going.
