Tick-Tock-Tach

Did all 1968 442's come equipped standard with a tick-tock-tach, or was it an option?

Rallye Pack gauges including the tick-tock Tach were options.

Appreciate that. Can you tell me what other gauges were included in the Rallye Pack?

Any key questions you would ask as a buyer of a 68 442?

The far right pod had a tac and clock combined in it, the far left pod has gauges rather than idiot lights for oil pressure, water temp and I think volts, I know it has three items in it. Look to see if it's number matching or not, start with the vin to see if it's a real 442 or Cutlass with badges added. Numbers matching bring more money. Look for rust in the common places, behind both front and rear tires in the body. If it's had a vinyl top, check for rust around the front and rear windshields. Under the battery box is another common place for the core support to rust out. Consider options on the car, typically that adds value to the car. Crawl over it and post questions about anything your not sure about. Good Luck! John

The gauge on the far left had fuel in the upper center and then water temp and oil pressure on either side of it. There was no voltmeter in this gauge.
