Got my 50 98 upholstered

Just got the car back from the shop. Went with almond vinyl with light green velour inserts. The carpet is dark green pile loop.

Soon I'll take it back to do the trunk. I had ordered the carpet set online (from "stockinteriors.com" ) Great poeple to deal with. My first set came sized for an 88 (7" more narrow). As soon as I sent them pictures and new measurements, they shipped me the replacement set. Well I had to order the carpet to match from them.

Looking better all the time! I didn't remember the rear having the fold down center section, but it's been almost 60 years since I rode in my friend's Mom's car! Big ol' honker, but so cool. Congratulations on a neat Oldsmobile, again.

No, I found out I took out the spider gear. I'm looking for parts, but might have to find a newer model differential. As long as it's the same width I can make it work.

This thing is so cool. What a cruiser. You did not fool around getting it done. You put many of us to shame. I would probably have never used those colors in a million years but I love it. You will never see another one of these at a show. Enjoy.

Thanks guye. I wanted to have colors no one else had. I think I accomplished that LOL. I am having a hard time finding parts. I found someone with a complete rear end (for the 88 a bit narrow). I can just change the pumpkin. This weekend is easter, so it will be a while.
