I'm looking for the lever that unlocks the backrest on the passenger side on my 68 Cutlass. I see a lot of repop buttons for the buckets and doubt that they make repros for the bench type. In addition, the dash, side panels and rear seat are perfect. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to get matching front seat upholstery and carpets.

 

Since all these cars have been converted to buckets and turned into Faux Four Twos years ago, the repro upholstery vendors don't offer a lot of bench seat options. Yeah, there are a few. Try finding upholstery for a four door/wagon. You pretty much have to buy the material from SMS and have the covers made.

They may be extremely slow, but at least they are insanely expensive. I had them make door panels for my 67 Delta. Fantastic workmanship, but the promised 6 months turned into 18. More recently it's been over two years.

 

The Parts Place carries bench seat upholstery (PUI & Legendary). IN2934T is the PN for PUI front bench only, they also sell a kit for both front and back bench seats. They also carry carpet, but it does not appear that they carry the back release ****.
