1969 442 bucket seat nuts?

Can someone tell me if this is the correct finish for the bucket seat nuts or were they painted the same color as the carpet from factory?

My guess is yes. The originals in my car are a light brown surface rust color, definitely not painted, but they’re in a convertible that has been top down in more than one rain storm.

The carpet was cut in a way so that it covered the track feet, they were not visible. The seats were not bolted down over the top of the carpet.

^^^This. Also, the seats and their mounting hardware was installed long after the car was painted. They were never painted.
