I have a few of the deluxe belt covers that have rusted in spots. I originally thought these were polished metal with a clear coat, but now I’m seeing these are simply painted. Has anyone successfully restored these? It’s $100 to get a replacement set - which I already did - but the originals fit the belt hardware much better. If I could restore these, I’d like to do that. Any guidance is welcomed.
