Anyone know where to get some blue interior paint for a 71 S w/blue interior? I checked the parts place and the have a gaggle of blues on the site and it’s pretty hard to tell their colors from their terrible photos. The paint is for the dash if that helps.

 

Subscribed, I've been looking for blue interior paint for my '71 VC, and even with the original paint codes, the local auto paint supply cannot cross it to an available maunfacturer.

 

I need 1972 green!

 

I gave up on my '72 and just had the paint shop do a kinda-sorta OK color match. I have that paint mix tattooed on my left arm now. It's a lot lighter than the original, but I've now repainted everything anyway.

 

Kolor Korrect can get you the right paints. Not cheap but it will be the right shades.

 

Have your local auto paint supply use their spectrometer on the original paint in your interior. They should be able to mix a batch for you from that.

 

So the parts place suggested M07 Burnt Sienna (red) for my interior hahahaahha. Shows how much they care to read their email about a blue color suggestion. They have terrible customer service. Looks like I’ll have to grab a chip off my dash n have the body shop try n do a match!
