63 Starfire leather seat restoration

I want to try and restore/preserve the original leather back seat to my 63 Starfire. The front bucket seats are split at the seam and most likely will have to be replaced. any ideas on techniques/ products to use would be appreciated. Seems the Europeans really get into leather restoring.

A good saddle soap to clean them and then dress and buff with LEXOL or similar product. The splits? Be ready for sticker shock if you have to buy a hide of metallic blue leather. Odds are pretty good it'll be a custom dye job but you can check with some leather suppliers.

Did you really think owning a Starfire would be cheap and easy?😼
