Will a 71 cutlass 4 door rear seat fit a 71 2 door hard top base cutlass?

No it will not. If your car is a coupe you must use a '70-'72 coupe rear seat or possibly '68-'69, a post car is wider & a convertible is narrower. I have several rear seat cores here in Indianapolis if you need one.

I have a 68-69 rear seat but the bottom half of the rear seat is to wide and had some one with a 4 door model wanting to sell me there rear seat. But seemed I remember reading it wouldn't fit, so I was looking for a clear answer. Do you ever ship the core?

I can ship one but it would be crazy expensive I'm sure. There are several members closer to you than I am. Start a new thread in the "parts wanted" section & I'm sure you will find one. I have thousands of smaller parts though if you need anything else.
