White interior ?s
I just found out today the Cutlass I've owned for 7 years came from the factory with a white interior, always thought it was black. I'd like to get the interior back to its original color, only problem is the 2nd owner changed the interior to a light gray. I've seen some pics of white interiors on convertibles but is it pretty much the same for the hardtops? I know the dash and carpet are black but are the sun visors white? Headliner? Package tray? A pillars? How white is white? lol

Yes white sunvisors/headliner. No white A pillers, packagetrays or carpet. What the "secondary" interior colors was varies.....blues, black, greens, browns. There were many different choices. If the carpet on the floor and doorpanals was black, then go for black secondary color for pillers, tray, etc.

the sun-visors in convertibles from those years are black not white. Maybe in hardtops they were white to match the headliner but in 70 the sun-visors were black, in the link mentioned the 71 has black sun-visors as well.
In a convertible that has a white or Pearl interior the seat covers, seat backs and door panels are the only things white, the carpet, dash, sun-visors, pillars, console, carpet, etc are all black.

What was the color of the A pillars on a Cutlass "S" & 442 with pearl/white interior for 1970, 1971, and 1972? I think the A pillars on a 1970 would be white, while 1971 & 1972 were black, but not certain. Thanks for any help you can shed on this matter.
